SPL Waterhousing and Canon Mark 2n for sale- Complete Surf Photography set up!

Time to upgrade, so I’m selling off my ‘go to’ setup from the past two years. I am the original owner.  All equipment is in great condition unless specified below (I am fanatical about keeping everything clean and stored properly).  I am looking to sell this as a complete package. It’s a steal for $2,475.00.  I also have a detachable flash port and 580EX available for it if you are interested.  My studio is in Los Angeles and I can show the gear anytime. I prefer to deal with someone here in Southern California, but will ship in the US.

Here’s the list:

1. Canon Mark 2n – Has had the shutter replaced by Canon in Irvine and recently was cleaned and tuned by Canon (I’m a CPS member).  The Mark 2n is one of the most reliable and best focusing sports cameras ever made.  The camera has some minor scuffing, but is in great condition and works flawlessly.  The eyecup is missing because I throw those stupid things away!  lol -Other wise the camera doens’t fit in the housing.

2.  Three (3) Batteries for the Mark 2n and the charger.  The batteries hold a good charge, but they are older and should eventually be replaced.

3.  SPL waterhousing (Yellow) with detachable pistol grip.  Controls include – shutter speed, fstop, and ISO.  Everything works perfectly and all ‘O rings’ are in great shape and frequently lubed. Includes lube, extra hardware and screws.

4. SPL ports include the 70-200mm (I have the IS version of this lens, but the other will work too) and the Fish eye port (I use the Canon 15mm fish).  The fish eye port has a very slight scrape (think the head of a pin) off to the side of the port that doesn’t effect the images (I have samples galore). Both ports include port covers.

Sean at SPL can modify this housing to fit a Canon Mark 3 and/or make ports or add more controls depending on your needs.
